Link to MoreGoogle and increase your Amazon earnings (BETA)

Since MoreGoogle is now able to display Amazon product details, I invite all Amazon Associates / Affiliates to link to MoreGoogle and start earning $$ :)

Here is how it works:
  • You link to MoreGoogle and include your Amazon Associate ID
  • MoreGoogle stores your Amazon Associate ID in a cookie
  • People download "your" MoreGoogle
  • When a user clicks on an Amazon link, MoreGoogle inserts your Amazon Associate ID. On every second click, MoreGoogle inserts its own ID, so we effectively share the click-through-rate 50:50.

    Linking to MoreGoogle
Update: I've created a link building page that makes the whole process a lot easier

    The link looks like this:

    http://scripts.moregoogle.com/redirect/associates.php?amzncom=[your-Amazon-Associate-ID]

where [your-Amazon-Assiciate-Id] is your Amazon.com Associate ID.

If you are an Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de associate, use the following parameters:

    amznuk=[your-Amazon-UK-Associate-ID]
    amznde=[your-Amazon-DE-Associate-ID]

If you have multiple Amazon Associate IDs, just add all parameters to your link. For example, if you have Associate accounts with Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de, your link could look like this:

    http://scripts.moregoogle.com/redirect/associates.php?amzncom=myamazoncomid-20&amznuk=myamazonukid-21&amznde=myamazondeid-22

All you need to do is add the link to your web page :)

    Testing it
  • Once you have your link in place, just click it and make sure you have MoreGoogle installed (It is also important that you are running IE when you click the link).
  • Go to www.google.com (or google.co.uk or google.de, whatever your preferred address is)
  • Find some Amazon products; a good start is to search for "Harry Potter DVD"
  • Now look at the Google results. Somewhere you'll find a link to an Amazon product.
  • Click the link
  • Look at the URL in the address bar - you'll see your Amazon ID :)

    BETA!
This is the first attempt, and everything is still running in Beta-mode. If you have questions or feedback, please post them here!

Hi, Great Tool but when i tryed with the amazon feature it was your amazon ID and not mine that I saw. And another thing why doesn't MoreGoogle work with MyIE2 seems to be odd as MyIE2 uses the same engine as IE. well thx for the tool

Hm; did you have cookies disabled? The affiliate feature requires cookies.

hm.. no cookies were enabled, could it be because Amzon recognized me and therefor gave your ID??

    Hello Andreas,

Thanks for your homework. I am about testing it. The first amazon test result: I only see my amazon id. nr, not the name related to that number. Please do comment!

    Best regards,
    Fred Meijer

i like your tool which displays thumbnails - but recently I have seen ads you tools inserts at the top of google and some of which are image ads -- you say this isn't spyware but it is starting to look like it --if you want to do advertising keep the link at the bottom -- don't confuse the user with your ads mixed with google ads - i most likely will be uninstalling this if it becomes more bothersome - the ads you are showing aren't even relevant to the search queries i am performing -

When I try to install the program I get this error:
Unable to register the DLL/OCX;DllRegisterServer failed; code 0x80040154.

Anyone else getting this? Any suggestions? I'm running winxp SP2

    Thanks,
    Derek

This is a great tool... but it works only on Internet Explorer! Could you please PLEASE find a way to make it work with other browsers built over Internet Explorer (like Avant Browser, Maxthon, MyIE2, etc...)? Thanks!!

It is indeed a cool tool but I'm afraid I'm having the same problem as others using IE frontends. Please add 'SlimBrowser' to the list of other browser frontends that don't work with MoreGoogle - I can't live without it ;-)

    Thanx!

    Hi Andreas,

    First question:
I'm surprised that a power Internet Explorer user like you don't use Maxthon (a IE shell that can be definited MoreIE;).
Unfortunately, your program MoreGoogle seems not seen by Maxthon. Do you plan to solve this problem in the near future?

    Second question:
is there a way to disactivate the thumbnails?

    Thanks,
    D.
